Hand-over celebration for the successful project completion on "Mein Schiff 1"
R&M has successfully completed another project on a Mein Schiff of TUI Cruises for the shipyard Meyer Turku. "Mein Schiff 1", which name was initially "Mein Schiff 7", follows "Mein Schiff 6" in the TUI fleet. The cruise ship built at the shipyard Meyer Turku in Finland will delight its guests in the summer in the Baltic region, Norway, Great Britain and the Canary Islands, as well as Canary Islands, southern Europe and the Mediterranean in winter. With a length of about 315 m, the vessel is 20 m longer than its sister ships and thus the longest ship of the Mein Schiff series.
R&M was responsible for the steel-to-steel turnkey order for 16 AC rooms, the equipment of the public areas, crew mess room, X-Lounge and reception as well as delivery for the provision area.
As part of an internal celebration, R&M handed over the provision area in the presence of the catering manager of the owner TUI and the project manager of the shipyard Meyer Turku. We were given the opportunity to present ourselves with a lasting statement in the provision area.
