Once again a successful project completed in Finland

R&M Finland has delivered a "complete" steel-to-steel RoPax ferry interior turnkey solution to its customer Rauma Marine Construction (RMC). "Complete" ferry interior includes the delivery and installation of all passenger and crew cabins, galley, pantries, buffet, and provision stores as well as public areas including sitting lounge, sleeping area, staircases, and hallways. The total areas amounted to approximately 4.000 m².

R&M delivered the complete detail design and all materials, starting from screws and bolts and ending with galley equipment and all furniture. Every single part, which was not part of the hull, was purchased and installed by R&M. This was a logistical challenge, which was managed with great success.

This was the first new build project for RMC after being closed by its former owner STX Finland. The order for the new build ferry for the Danish shipping company Molslinjen was placed in June 2016 and the ferry started operating in autumn 2018.
